A long time ago, in a galaxy not far from here, an actor was born who would revolutionize show business. That actor's name is NOT Paul DiMilla. However, this IS Paul DiMilla's website; therefore, here is his story.

Paul started acting in 1984 whilst a student at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA, where he earned a degree in Computer Science. After graduation, he continued to pursue his new found passion with several community theatres and acting classes. In 1987, he became a company member of Menagerie Theatre, which would serve as his artistic home until 1993. He served as Menagerie's Artistic Director for two of its most successful seasons. He directed three productions for Menagerie: Thornton Wilder's The Skin of Our Teeth, Neil Simon's The Good Doctor, and the Frederick Knott thriller Wait Until Dark. In 1993, he won an Acting Honor from the Eastern Massachusetts Association of Community Theatres for his portrayal of Rick Steadman in The Nerd. He also spent a season as a series regular on the cable-access, sketch comedy series Frozen Dinner Theatre.

Paul started acting professionally in late 1993. Since then, he has appeared on stage in a variety of roles for many of the top theatre companies in New England including the American Repertory Theatre, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, Publick Theatre, American Stage Festival, Penobscot Theatre Company, SpeakEasy Stage Company, and the Sugan Theatre Company. Among the many roles he has had the pleasure of playing during his professional career are Matamore in The Illusion, Tito Merelli in Lend Me a Tenor, Aegeus in Medea, Peter in The Zoo Story, and Earl Williams in The Front Page. He also had the thrill of working with several nationally and internationally known directors including Mary Zimmerman, Dominique Serrand, Jessica Kubzansky, and Janos Szasz.

Paul has also appeared in many independent films, several of which have been screened at film festivals. He played the title role in the feature Harrison Macauley is Going to Kill Me, which won 3rd prize at the 2003 San Antonio Underground Film Festival. He also appeared on the Discovery Channel series Unsolved History, as Alexander Graham Bell's assistant, Sumner Tainter, in the episode Forensics in the White House.

Paul is a member of the Actors' Equity Association.

Originally from the Boston area, Paul currently resides in Oxnard, California with his lovely wife, the heavenly Celeste.
